TOURISM MINISTER ON ST.LUCIA UK VISA FREE STATUS IN JEOPORDY

The minister responsible for the Citizenship By Investment programme (CIP) Ernest Hilaire has dismissed the reports in wide circulation throughout the region about the impending end to St. Lucia’s visa free status to the United Kingdom. Last week a Miami based news organization published a report in which it was stated that the British government will be suspending Dominica’s visa free status for travel to Britain and that St. Lucia, Antigua and St Kitts will soon follow. The CIP was cited as the cause for the suspension. On Monday dr. Earnest Hilaire who is the CIP minister dismissed the report as untrue.
