Investigations are currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the escape of a prisoner from the Bordelaise Correctional Facility. The home affairs minister has announced that while the investigation is ongoing, the St. Lucia government has taken measures to reinforce the security apparatus at the prison complex.
