PM URGES BUSINESSES & INVDIVIDUALS TO PAY VAT OWED TO GOVERNMENT

Prime minister and minister for finance Philip J Pierre has presented what he is describing as a generous offer to the individuals and businesses who owe close to six hundred million dollars in unpaid funds collected on behalf of the government, taxes and fines. In his address to parliament on Wednesday the prime minister says those who pay up before the first of May 2024 will have the interest, fines and penalties waived
