The marine police unit is celebrating 29 years since the mantle of leadership was handed over from the royal navy officers to Saint Lucia commanders. The day which is commonly known as tiller day is marked with a series of events. The unit concluded its week of activities with a special ceremony at its headquarters in Vigie cove, Castries on the actual day of observance Friday, July 28th.
