GRACE FARMERS MEET WITH AGRICULTURE MINISTER

The banana farmers of Grace Vieux Fort have made a special appeal to the government of St. Lucia through the minister for agriculture for urgent assistance to help rescue their industry. The farmers who recognize the support of the government in the provision of inputs say more is needed if the industry is to survive. On Wednesday the grace banana farmers held a meeting with the minister of agriculture to outline the details of their concerns.
