There is growing concern in St. Lucia and the region that some long-forgotten diseases may make a comeback as the number of people who are being vaccinated continues to decline. The ministry of health is embarking on a campaign to reach out to the communities to encourage people to ensure that they and their children get vaccinated against some of the deadly diseases that claimed lives and cause much suffering in the past. This campaign is being undertaken during vaccination week for the Americas, which was launched on Monday.
