2 men in serious condition after late-night fighting, medics say
Nine civilians were wounded during a brawl in south Tel Aviv early Saturday, medics said.
First responders found eight injured people at the scene of the fighting at around 2:30 a.m. in the Hatikvah neighborhood.
A 20-year-old was rushed to a hospital in serious condition with penetrating wounds to his body, the Magen David Adom emergency service said.
Three others were in moderate condition with similar injuries, and four more were lightly wounded.
Minutes later, medics received a call about another man around the age of 40 in a nearby area who had apparently fled the brawl. He was also in serious condition with penetrating wounds and rushed to a Tel Aviv hospital.

South Tel Aviv was the scene of intense clashes earlier this month between supporters of the Eritrean regime, its opponents, and police. Over 150 were injured in the fighting and dozens were arrested. The area is home to a large population of asylum-seekers from north Africa.
