The Afghan Business Council-Dubai convened its annual General Assembly at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, according to a statement released by the council.
Mohammed bin Sulaiman, Director of Business Relations at the Dubai Chambers; Maha AlGargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at the Dubai Chambers; Omar Alhashmi, Project Manager at the Dubai Chambers; Sharina Alfalasi, Executive at the Dubai Chambers for Business Relations; Jeffrey Grieco, President and CEO of the Afghan American Chamber of Commerce, and members of the Afghan Business Council were present at the meeting.
Mr Mohammed Bin Sulaiman and Ms Maha Algargawi welcomed the members of the Afghan Business Council-Dubai.
Mr Haji Obaidullah Sader Khail greeted the Afghan Business Council-Dubai members and thanked the Dubai Chamber of Commerce officials for organizing such a great event.
During the meeting, Mr Ismail Ghazanfar, Mr Bismillakh Moh Nasim, Mr Ahmad Shah Shahab, Mr Muhammad Mansur Majid, Mr Mail Agha Khair Khwa, and other members of the Afghan Business Council also presented their opinions.
Haji Obaidullah Sader Khail was re-elected as the head of the Afghan Business Council in the UAE during the meeting, the statement said.
Earlier, an event was organized by the Afghan American Chamber of Commerce in Dubai to discuss the Afghan private sector development, according to Sader Khail.
He said the meeting discussed the banking and visa issues and the problems ahead for Afghan traders and business people. “In this meeting, the countries currently assisting Afghanistan discussed the assistance today,” he said.
